Alan Kennedy-Shaffer served as a regional field director

Kennedy-Shaffer’s writings have also appeared in The New York Times, the International Herald Tribune, the Washington Post, the Patriot-News, the Daily Press, and the Virginia Gazette. I found this book to be an endlessly fascinating look into the presidential campaign trail in general. This book gives such insight into the type of man that we have elected as our President, and how he thinks, it really gives me hope for the future of our country. Even those who are not Obama supporters can't help but be inspired by this man who inspired a generation and a country to win the election. This election was so historic on so many different fronts and this is a one of a kind look into how it was won. I can't say enough good things about this book. To me it's one of those books you keep for the future, when your kids can read it and understand how this campaign was run. I'd definitely recommend this book!
