About The Author...
Michelle McKinney Hammond, a writer, singer, and speaker who focuses on improving love–driven relationships, is the founder and president of HeartWing Ministries. She also cohosted the Emmy–winning TV show Aspiring Women for 10 years. Michelle is the bestselling author of Sassy, Single, & Satisfied (200,000 copies sold) and What to Do Until Love Finds You.
From the Publishers website:"Bestselling author Michelle McKinney Hammond, whose books have sold over 1.3 million copies, encourages single women to place their need for love in perspective, take their lives off hold, live purposely, and gain a better understanding of how to relate successfully to men.
In her candid, no–nonsense style, Michelle assures the reader that the journey toward finding a mate for life does not have to be filled with anxiety or regret. She warmly offers encouragement from her own life experiences and gleans godly principles from Ruth, a sister in the Bible who got her man, to show readers how to get the love they want.
Those stuck in the dead–end dating scene, along with those on an involuntary relationship fast, need to know that marriage could very well be on the horizon...if only they learn how to be found by the man they’ve been looking for."
I was very impressed with this book, although I honestly don't know what I had expected when I selected it. But it's not your run of the mill dating, get-your-man kind of book. This book follows the love story of Ruth and Boaz and uses it for it's inspiration. Along the way we're treated to nuggest of Personal Confessions which are things we can repeat over and over to ourselves, and Man Facts which will help us to understand men a little better. What I really liked about the book was that it didn't push finding a man. It promotes letting the man find you. McKinney-Hammond encourages women to understand themselves and live their lives and stand on FAITH that the perfect man will find them. She helps the reader to get ready for love spiritually, emotionally, and physically by looking deeper inside of themselves. I was totally impressed with this book, because it really can apply not just to men, but other relationships. We really need to know who we are and to know God before we can stand on Faith that love will find us. We need to follow God's plan and trust that when it's the right time, Mr. Right will find us and it will be a wonderful match. My copy has highlight marks all through it so that I can refer back to it again and again. Quite honestly, I'd recommend this to women of all ages, and I think it's a book that can be read at different times in your life and will be significant every time. I encourage anyone who's single (whether you think you're looking or not) to pick up a copy of this. It can only enlighten you!Where to pick up your own copy of this great book!
