6:02 PMHappy VGNO Everyone! Tonight I've gathered some great Margarita recipes of all kinds for you. I've also got a giveaway for you guaranteed to help spice up your summer parties, so make sure you read to the end and leave me some comments for your chance to win. All the recipes came from the Betty Crocker website.

Mangoritas
1 | can (10 oz) frozen margarita drink mix |
1 | cup mango nectar |
1/2 | cup tequila or mango nectar |
2 | cups cracked ice |
In blender, place all ingredients except ice. Cover; blend on high speed until blended. | |
Add ice. Cover; blend until smooth and slushy. | |
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change. |
Frozen Strawberry Margaritas
1 can (6 ounces) frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
1 package (10 ounces) frozen strawberries in syrup, thawed
3 cups water
3/4 cup tequila
1 liter lemon-lime soda pop, chilled
1. Place limeade and strawberries in blender. Cover and blend until smooth. Add water and tequila. Pour into 2-quart plastic container. Cover and freeze about 24 hours or until slushy.
2. To serve, place 2/3 cup slush in each glass and fill with 1/3 cup soda pop; stir.
Margarita Cake
1 1/2 cups coarsely crushed pretzels
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® white cake mix
1 1/4 cups bottled nonalcoholic margarita mix
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon grated lime peel
3 egg whites
1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
Additional grated lime peel, if desired
1. Heat oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan with shortening and lightly flour (or spray bottom with baking spray with flour). In medium bowl, mix pretzels, sugar and butter. Sprinkle evenly on bottom of pan; press gently.
2. In large bowl, beat cake mix, margarita mix, oil, 1 tablespoon lime peel and the egg whites with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour batter over pretzel mixture.
3. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until light golden brown and top springs back when touched lightly in center. Cool completely, about 2 hours. Frost with whipped topping; sprinkle with additional lime peel. Store covered in refrigerator.
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Heat oven to 375°F. Decrease oil to 1/4 cup; use 4 egg whites
Margarita Chex® Fiesta Mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 tablespoons tequila
2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
2 envelopes instant margarita mix, from 3 1/3-oz package
4 cups Corn Chex® cereal
3 cups Rice Chex® cereal
2 cups Wheat Chex® cereal
1 cup mixed nuts
1 cup bite-size pretzel twists
1 cup dried cranberries or cherries
1. Heat oven to 250°F.
2. In ungreased large roasting pan, melt butter in oven. Stir in tequila, seasoned salt, red pepper and dry margarita mix. Stir in cereals, nuts and pretzels until evenly coated.
3. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Stir in cranberries. Spread on paper towels to cool, about 15 minutes. Store in airtight container.
