This was such a touching book. I'd really recommend this book to everyone. While it's Christian fiction, it's something that's woven through the story vs. something that knocks you over the head. Watching the relationship of these two characters as they move from a devastating loss to beginning to live again is enthralling. Then witnessing the dilemma that Bryn goes through as she tries to follow through with what she thinks is the right thing to do is heart-rending. I can't recommend this one highly enough. I love Deborah Raney's books as she really seems to capture real life emotions and dramas.
