Description (Publisher Website)

You're the daughter of the King!
Like a loving father, God holds you in the palm of His hand. He loves you no matter what you wear, what you say, what you've done, or how you feel. And He wants you to live a wonderful life.

In His Princess Girl Talk with God, Sheri Rose Shepherd helps you experience God's unending love for you through forty devotions. Sheri remembers what it was like to be a teen girl, and she connects your experiences with God's love. Through these stories, love letters from God, Scriptures, and prayers, you'll feel just how much God treasures you--His Princess.

Through 40 devotions, Shepherd brings biblical insights to some of the greatest hardships teen girls face. Honestly addressing tough topics like perfectionism, gossip, depression, eating disorders and dating, Shepherd helps readers understand these dilemmas on a spiritual level. She strips away the lies surrounding each issue to expose God’s encouraging truth about how he sees each of us and what he desires from each of us.

Each devotion reading includes a story from Shepherd’s own life that shares how God has transformed her life and brought her through painful struggles. Shepherd also couples the readings with specific Scripture as well as a love letter from God, a biblically-based note filled with the
kind of encouragement that God might say if he were to write a letter to the reader.

My Thoughts
What a wonderful gift for teen girls!  If you have a young girl in your life this should definitely be on your radar.  Teen girls have so many issues that they are struggling with, and this book is a daily reminder that God loves them, and that they are a Princess in the eyes of God.  Quite honestly, this book would be excellent for any woman, no matter her age :)

About The Author
Sheri Rose Shepherd is the founder of His Princess Ministries and the author of several
books, including the bestselling His Princess: Love Letters from Your King. She was the popular subject of a prime-time Billy Graham special and will be touring with Extraordinary Women in 2010. She lives with her family in Orange County, California.

As she’s done for millions of other readers, Shepherd reaches out with His Princess Girl Talk with God and teaches readers to embrace the truth about God’s love for them: that in his eyes, they are truly royalty.

Every year we lose more people to AIDS. It hasn't disappeared and it's not going away anytime soon. I urge you to seek out and support your local AIDS Organizations. Encourage everyone you know to practice safe sex and to get tested once a year. Even if you don't think you are at risk, get tested. I didn't think I was at risk either, and I almost died before I was diagnosed.
