Jean graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a Bachelor's (1987) and a Master's (1992) degree in Journalism. She lives in Boulder with her husband Zane; three boys, Josh, Jordan, and Jake.

ince I raised two boys (yeah that's them! Don't they clean up well?) I was really interested in reading this book! I'm very familiar with boys and the stunts that they pull.I wasn't disappointed in this book at all. In fact, I have lots and lots of post it flags in this book so that I can go back and reread some of the hilarious stories of male exploits in the book.
Whether you're an expectant mom of a boy, or just trying to understand how your husband's mind works at times this book will entertain you and educate you.
Jean gives you some great tips that come from the experience of raising sons and also tips from the experts. All of it mixed with hilarious stories about raising boys.
The 'Digging Deeper' sections at the end of each chapter offer you some questions to make you think more in-depth about the subject and also offer suggested readings.
This is a book that every mother (and father) will find herself laughing over and being able to relate to!
