Review
What can I say? I have been a fan of Harry Connick, Jr. for years and while this newest album features the smooth, mellow voice of HC, I wasn't impressed. These are the same songs that seem to get pulled everytime someone does a remake of the classics. While I enjoyed the music, the CD didn't WOW me as his former CD's have done. Even with the big band backing him up, the songs felt bland. I was disappointed, as I've loved his music in the past, and just didn't feel it was up to his usual standard. If you're a HC fan, you'll enjoy this CD. If you're introducing someone to HC, this isn't the CD that I'd choose. I'd give this 3 out of 5 stars.
